Albany State’s Lavosier took part in 3rd Minority Baseball Prospects All-Star Game

The Golden Rams baseball standout, Lavoisier Fisher, participated in the Minority Baseball Prospects 2023 HBCU All-Star Game on Saturday, June 3, at Coolray Field, home of the Triple-A Braves affiliate, Gwinnett Stripers.  The 3rd Annual HBCU All-Star Game featured the top 50 HBCU talent from D1, D2, NAIA and Junior College levels.  The event included an exciting HBCU Homecoming Tailgate, Vendors, Food Trucks, Entertainment and a Pre-Game Home Run Derby.
 
Lavoisier Fisher is a junior from Suwanee, Georgia.  Lavoisier was named to the 2023 SIAC All-Conference First Team as an outfielder.  Lavoisier finished the season with a batting average of .321.  Fisher hit 14 home runs and had 64 RBIs for the Golden Rams.  Fisher also had 15 stolen bases.
 
In the all-star game, Lavoisier had 3 stolen bases and scored 2 runs for Team Black.
 
Lavoisier participated in a combine on Friday and ran a 6.38 in the 60 yard dash, which was the fastest time in the event.  Lavoisier also had the highest exit velo of 102 mph in the batting practice.  Lavoisier indicated that he pulled down a 90 mph from right field.
